As the tool's name indicates, the License Center tool is used to display license status and usage information for DB2 products that are installed on your system. The License Center, shown in Figure 2.11, is also used to configure your system for license monitoring.
The following are some of the key tasks that you can perform with the License Center:
Add or remove licenses or registered users.
Change the enforcement or license type policies, the number of concurrent users, the number of licensed processors, or the number of Internet processor licenses.
View processor status information, concurrent users policy information, license information, and user statistics or details.
The License page displays the following information:
Product name
Version information
Expiry date
Registered user policy
Number of entitled DB2 Connect users
Current number of DB2 Connect users
Enforcement policy
Number of processors and number of licensed processors (for DB2 UDB ESE)
