The following steps can be used for adding an empty chassis:

1. Scroll down to the chassis section in the Hardware Inventory menu.
2. Click on the Chassis + icon, provide a chassis name, and select the chassis model from the drop-down:

3. Click on the newly added chassis under the Equipment option in the navigation pane.
4. Add chassis fans by dragging them from the hardware inventory catalog area at the bottom of the page.
5. Add chassis PSUs by dragging the from the hardware inventory catalog area at the bottom of the page.
6. Add chassis IOMs by dragging the from the hardware inventory catalog area at the bottom of the page.

7. After adding all components, connect the links to the Fabric Interconnect under the Manage Links of Chassis area:
