In order to schedule a backup job, it is required to configure the backup and export policy. Using this policy setting, it is possible to schedule a full state backup or full configuration backup export job on a daily, weekly, or biweekly basis. Follow these steps for configuration:
- Log in to UCS Manager.
- Click on the Admin tab in the navigation pane.
- Click on the All tab in the navigation pane and click on Policy Backup & Export in the work pane.
- Information to be entered here is identical to backup job creation under the General tab except for Schedule which can be set as Daily, Weekly, or Bi Weekly:
