CDK is a very useful "kit" to develop rich JSF components in a fast and solid way, without caring about all the standard (and repetitive) code that a normal JSF component creation requires.

In this chapter, we have seen how to start a project in order to develop a simple JSF Ajax component in a simple and effective way using the features the CDK offers.

Reading the documentation about CDK (http://docs.jboss.org/richfaces/latest_3_3_X/en/cdkguide/html/) and studying the source code of the RichFaces library (that can be downloaded from http://www.jboss.org/richfaces/download/stable.html) is a very useful way to go over and develop more complex components.
