The IP address assigned to the domain service needs to be added to the virtual network as the DNS server. This will allow the domain to join servers created under the same virtual network:
- Go to Networks in the left-hand navigation panel and click on the virtual network where the Azure AD instance is associated with.
- Click on the CONFIGURE link, and in there, under the DNS server section, add the IP address that was assigned by the Azure AD configuration:
