This is the most common starting point for any Group Policy-related troubleshooting. Once we log into a system, it refreshes group policies every 90 minutes. But if required, we can forcefully process the policies using:

gpupdate /force

If it's a user setting, we need to log off and log back in. If it's a computer setting, the system needs to reboot after running the command.
