In this recipe, we are going to write three topics and concluding sentences, leaving out the detailed sentences. Therefore, our students will have to write them. We are going to carry out the activity in Advanced uploading of files. This is done so that our students can upload three different files with the three paragraphs or they can do it in the same document. Thus, they have two options. Let's Moodle it!
We have to think of three different topics to write three excellent topic sentences and three concluding ones. What can we write about? How about cities? Chicago, New York, and San Francisco? Do you agree?
We are going to choose the Weekly outline section where we want to design the activity. So, these are the steps you have to follow:
- Select Add an activity and click on the Advanced uploading of files.
- Complete the Assignment name block with the name of the activity.
- In the Description block, write what the students have to do and the three topics and concluding sentences. In this case, you can choose topics other than the cities.
- You can also create three links to websites that give information about these cities.
- In Maximum number of uploaded files, choose 3 because that is the number of files that students are to upload.
- Click on Save and return to course.
