In this chapter, we learned about the basics of ServiceNow scripting. We also learned about the difference between server-side and client-side scripting. We also covered some important and regularly used methods available in client- and server-side client APIs.

In the next chapter, we will create client-side scripts and learn how to enhance the interaction of a user using the client-side scripting available in the ServiceNow platform.
