Data is the content that makes up the view based on the selected subject. The type of data that can be added and any additional options available depend on the select presentation type. An important feature with views is that they are able to display and filter based on properties, and not just standard metrics. This is particularly useful when filtering a list or distribution group. For example, the following screenshot shows badge information in a given vSphere Cluster, as long as they contain a vSphere tag of BackupProtectedVM.
