Multiprocess can only be configured on the object type operating system. This is a feature by which you can monitor the processes and services of an operating system. Once configured, it will be listed in the objects list as sub-object of the MultiProcess.
In this example, we will show you how to configure multiprocess to monitor the VMware Tools service:
- In vRealize Operations, navigate to the object (server) you want to monitor. Click Actions | Monitor OS Object and select Monitor Processes:
- Enter a Display Name and the process name to monitor:
You should see the process in the Inventory Explorer under the MultiProcess group.
