Every individual's OneDrive has a recycle bin, similar to SharePoint sites. The restoration process is the same in that you select the file(s) then Restore.

A newer feature in OneDrive, as we discussed in the previous subsection on SharePoint restoration, is called Files Restore and it allows you to revert the entirety of a OneDrive site (personal or business) to another point in time. You must have an Office 365 subscription to use this feature.

In both versions (personal and business), you'll find the restoration option by going to Settings | Restore your OneDrive:

Then, you'll be able to use the dropdown menu, slider, or list of changes to choose the point in time that you wish to restore your OneDrive to:

As you can see, we have many options for restoring content at a granular or global level. This provides peace of mind for users and should be documented in any existing retention and usage policies you may have.
