View Company Page Statistics

A great repository of data related to Company Pages can be found with a single mouse click. If charts, graphs, and statistics are what you’re after, then visit the Company Page you want to learn about and click the Check Out Insightful Statistics About [Insert Company Name] Employees on the right side of the page as shown in Figure 13.1. The Statistics Overview page shown in Figure 13.6 opens.

The Job Functions tab is automatically selected. Scroll through the page to see charts about job function composition, annual company growth, employees who have changed their titles, employees with new titles, and a graphical representation of your LinkedIn connections at that company. The charts provide information culled from employee profiles on LinkedIn and include comparison data to similar companies based on industry and size. Some charts include a Filter button in the upper-right corner of the chart that enables you to drill down and see the data in different ways.

Click through the tabs at the top of the Statistics Overview page shown in Figure 13.6 to view additional information. For example, you can see charts detailing Years Experience, Educational Degree, and University Attended for company employees.

WARNING

It’s important to remember that these statistics come from employee profiles and updates. They’re great for directional thinking, but don’t rely on them as 100 percent accurate representations of a company’s performance or employee makeup.
