Adding blocks before or after a block

Usually, we add the content to a post or page by adding blocks one after the other with the Add Block button. However, if we forget to add a block or if we need to add a block in later stages, we need the ability to position the new block between other blocks. The Gutenberg editor provides a solution for this requirement by offering the Insert Before and Insert After options.

First, we click the block where we want to place the new block. Then, we can use the Insert Before or Insert After options. Once we click one of these options, the cursor will be placed before or after the selected block. The block adding toolbar will be also visible alongside the cursor. Now, we can use the Add Block button to add the new block. Once added, the editor will internally place the code for the block before or after the block we selected.
