Redshift is a fully managed, SQL-compliant data warehouse service. You can store up to a petabyte in a Redshift cluster. It has its own JDBC and ODBC drivers but also supports standard PostgreSQL drivers. This means most Business Intelligence (BI) tools can connect directly to it. Redshift is useful for commonly queried data and is a common place to put processed and summarized IoT data for wider enterprise consumption.
