Let's go to the next tool in the Azure portfolio, the Azure Time Series Insights service. Azure Time Series Insight is also a real-time data processing tool (especially for IoT scenarios) and similar in design and functionality to the Azure Stream Analytics service.

The data can come from devices, sensors, applications, and more. It is important to know that the data is not collected directly; access is via an Azure IoT Hub and/or an Azure Event Hub. However, Azure Time Series Insight places great value on storing incoming data and then using it as historical data in the analysis process.
