In this chapter, we looked at what issues are in Jira and explored the basic operations of creating, editing, and deleting issues. We also looked at the advanced operations offered by Jira to enhance how you can manipulate and use issues, such as adding attachments, creating subtasks, and linking multiple issues.

In the next chapter, we will look at fields and how we can create our own custom fields to capture additional information from users.
