You can only add triggers to transitions if Jira is integrated with at least one of the supported development tools. With triggers, you can automate some of your DevOps flow, such as automatically transitioning an issue into an In Review status when a pull request is created. To add triggers, perform the following steps:

1. Select the transition you want to add triggers to.
2. Click on the Triggers link.

3. Click on the Add trigger button. If you do not have any integrated development tools, this button will be disabled:

4. Select the trigger you want to add and click on the Next button.
5. Confirm the trigger source is detected and click on the Add trigger button.
