When creating an OSD through the Proxmox GUI, sometimes this error occurs. This is not a common occurrence and is not reproducible at all times. Although there are no permanent fixes for this issue, it can be ignored. So, just retry to create an OSD. The issue seems to be isolated in Proxmox 4.x releases.
