Router access

Now, to gain access to your router, you have to find your router's IP address. It is usually 192.168.1.1, but depending on your mode, it may be different. If you are having trouble, you can check your router's manual and find out exactly what you have to do. Also, you can make a call to your ISP and ask them. Assuming that you found your router's IP address, now you have to open a browser and type the following URL:

http://192.168.1.1/

Alternatively, you can enter your router's IP address if it is different. Note that sometimes we need to specify the port number. To do this, we need to type the port number apart from the IP address to make a request from 192.168.1.1 in port 8080, as follows:

http://192.168.1.1:8080

You should see something similar to the following screenshot:

This is the interface of your router and here, you can change many things.
