Margaret PEAKE: What terms are you offering on the BB126?
Carl RITCHIE: A 4% discount.
Margaret PEAKE: Only 4%, when I get 10% on the BB52?
Carl RITCHIE (after defending the merits of the new BB126 at length): I can offer you 5%.
Margaret PEAKE: You seem to be forgetting that yours is not the only firm active in this market, so a 10% discount would seem quite reasonable to me!
Carl RITCHIE: Let’s not waste time arguing over a few pennies. Let’s split the difference! That way, you’ll get 7.5% off the BB126.
Margaret PEAKE: Why not? But you’ll need to offer a special promotional price when it is launched as well.
