Managing daemons using systemctl

Services can be started at boot time by creating a link to the unit files in the systemd configuration directory using the systemctl command. Earlier enabling of a service to start it automatically at boot time was managed using chkconfig. An example to illustrate the usage of systemctl command to disable or enable a unit file is shown in the following diagram:
