Cloud services is a PaaS (Platform as a Service) and is designed to support applications that need auto-management of scalability and reliability by Azure. Cloud services run internally on VMs and provide an abstraction layer on top. It has two types of roles, which are as follows:

• Worker Role
• Web Role
