NPt enables you to map an internal IPv6 prefix to an external one. It should be noted, however, that NPt does not function like traditional network address translation or port address translation, and you cannot use NPt to map an internal prefix to a prefix in use on a WAN interface. Rather, NPt must be used with a routed subnet.
