Summary

In this chapter, we learned how to use the fantomEngine game framework.

Some of the things we have covered are as follows:

  • How to load/create image objects
  • How to load bitmap fonts and display text objects
  • How to play sound effects
  • How to act on collision detection
  • How to create a FLASH game

We will also use the fantomEngine more intensively in Chapter 5, Game #4, Chain Reaction, where we will create a completely different game for the Android platform, called Chain Reaction. See you there!
