Summary

During the development of At The Docks, we covered the following things:

  • Loading of level maps with the LoadString command
  • Reading and acting on input from an XBOX 360 controller
  • Using the Box2Box and Box2Bound collision types of fantomEngine
  • Creating an XNA application

In the next chapter of this book we will cover the second-last game that we create together. Hopefully, you had a lot of fun so far, and if so, we will meet again in Chapter 8, Game #7, Air Dogs 1942!
