This chapter has demonstrated the need for creating test suites that map to lists. Test lists inside Test Studio can be of static or dynamic nature where the criteria ensuring this dynamicity can range from fixed test attributes to custom properties. The execution of test lists produced built-in results and reports which were further extended by Test Studio's integration with MS Excel and Visual Studio.

After setting the grounds for single test case automation, followed by the automated batch execution of tests, we are able to take automation to the next level by looking at the nonfunctional characteristics of a system through performance testing. The next chapter explains the process of preparing performance testing scripts, gathering and analyzing data around critical end user scenarios.
