As we discussed in Chapter 3, Core Microsoft 365 Components, Office 365 ProPlus contains the same applications (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel) as the traditional Office software package. In that sense, Office 365 ProPlus (OPP) and Office 2016 are very similar. Office 365 ProPlus is also available in both 32-bit and 64-bit versions. Microsoft recommends the 64-bit editions for new deployments, but you'll need to verify which edition is right for your organization based on hardware and third-party plugin compatibility requirements.

While they have many similarities, there are some differences. We'll start with Office Professional.
