In this chapter, we covered the three types of cloud deployments (public, private, and hybrid) as well as the four types of cloud service scenarios (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and serverless).

Knowing the difference between the private and public cloud, and the advantages of them both in a hybrid deployment, is critical to helping organizations identify the best possible solutions. Furthermore, understanding the capabilities of each of the four cloud service models is also critical. Mapping business requirements to IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and serverless technologies can help organizations leverage each service appropriately and return the most value.  

In the next chapter, we will start exploring Microsoft 365's core services, such as Exchange Online and Teams. We will go over its features and administrative and end user experiences.
