Third-party apps can be critical to an organization's day-to-day operations. Hundreds of first- and third-party apps can be integrated right into the Teams client through the use of bots and connectors. For example, users can use connectors and webhooks to get data from social media sources such as Twitter to post directly to Teams conversation channels or incorporate data from their sales pipeline tools.

With these integrations, users are able to accomplish their work using these apps without leaving the Teams client. The following screenshot shows the Apps tab, which can be used to add and configure these tools:
