One or Two Pages?

For some strange reason, the length of a résumé has become a source of anxiety among job seekers. Generally, if you've worked for 10 years or less, one page should suffice. If you have more than 10 years of experience, then it ought to be two pages long. Notice I said generally. If you want to know what's appropriate in your specific field, ask. Talk to people you know in your field. Also, contact the human resources departments of the companies for which you're interested in working and find out what they prefer.
