Instant Gratification

The battle cry of every mixed media artist is nothing goes to waste. Save those paper towels that you have wiped your hands and brushes on and you will find that at the end of the day you have a beautiful collage element. If you have multi-ply towels, separate the layers—you’ll get multiple collage elements.

Step 1

Paint randomly on the paper towel. Let the paint dry.

Step 2

Stamp (or draw) on the paper towel. Let the ink (or paint) dry.

Step 3

Glue the paper towel onto another surface using polymer medium or soft gel. Continue painting and embellishing, if desired.
