Copy, Scanning

Copy machines and scanners are two more tools in your arsenal, and they are so much fun. They allow you to layer, save the original, make an archival copy of a fragile paper or an unstable experiment, and even jump-start a new piece of art from part of an old one.

Consider the bed of a copier or scanner an art table where you can layer transparencies, stack objects or set fragile or perishable objects that you want to make copies of. Create your collage on the bed and then resize, change color and scale. Mix and match all or some of the many possible options copiers and scanners provide.
