Change of Scale
Hard to believe, but yes, your eyes can deceive you. Have you ever taken a piece of art to the gallery and suddenly it looks smaller than it did in your studio? Or perhaps you remember a series of objects differently than you remember one of the individual elements of that series? Or maybe the energy of a piece makes it feel larger than it really is?
By multiplying images, changing the point of view, varying the sizes of the elements in your piece and changing the scale, you can give your work the presence and power it deserves.
