Sprint Goal confidence

In the previous section, we looked at how to run the first Daily Scrum event. We discussed that a Daily Scrum was a good place for a team to review if they felt they could still meet the Sprint Goal by the end of the Sprint. We used Roman Voting to express our level of confidence.

The following figure shows thumb icons on the Sprint Goal; we've used them to record each team member's vote so that we can see from Scrum-to-Scrum how things are changing. We can use this to decide if we need to do anything to improve the process. For example, if there is a sudden drop in confidence, perhaps it's worth re-planning the approach to completing the Sprint Goal:
