For this recipe, we will need the Jira command-line interface (CLI). You can retrieve it from https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/org.swift.jira.cli/cloud/overview.

The CLI app has two components. The first component is an app called CLI Connector that you can install via the Universal Plugin Manager (UPM) just like any other Jira apps. The second component is the actual CLI Client, which we will use to issue commands to Jira. You can download the latest command-line tool (atlassian-cli-8.x.x-distribution.zip) from https://bobswift.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/info/pages/103022955/Downloads+-+CLI+Clients.

You will also need to have an administrator account, as user creation is an administrative task.
