Since we are connecting to another Atlassian application here, we should take advantage of the application links:
- Navigate to Administration > Applications > Application links.
- Enter your Bamboo URL and create the application link. Jira should automatically detect the target application as Bamboo, as shown in the following screenshot:
If, for some reason, Jira does not detect this, make sure you select Bamboo as the Application type when prompted.
