Being automatically notified of any changes that happen in Jira is convenient, but if you have a busy Jira, you might find yourself buried in emails as a result of too many updates. To help with that, you can enable the new email batching feature. By enabling batching, instead of receiving an email for each update that happens to an issue, Jira will group all updates for a given issue and send you a summary email instead. To enable email batching, go through the following steps:
- Navigate to Administration > System > Batching email notification.
- Check the Batching email notification option to enable the feature.
