For the sake of those who either work at non-profit organizations, or who might be interested in helping a non-profit organization, I invite you to investigate Google Grants at www.google.com/grants.
It’s an interesting program where under certain conditions, a 501(c)3 non-profit may be awarded some free Google Advertising.
If you’re a non-profit, feel free to get in touch, and I’d be glad to help you apply ([email protected]):
One of the things I like to encourage when I teach classes is to learn by doing, and if you’re interested in building your job skills, I think that seeking to assist non-profits with things like Facebook ads or Google ads could be a great way to learn a skill and to have something in your portfolio.
So, if you’re interested in helping a non-profit, and maybe learning more about Adwords, I’d also invite you to get in touch; I’d be glad to connect you to a nonprofit that might need some assistance ([email protected]).
This is the idea behind “JobLife.” So it’s not just an idea, but also an opportunity. See www.joblife.org.
