Additional Resources

This section has some more resources to check out. There will be some additional links at the Links section on www.drupalprimer.com, and if you have something to do with Drupal and would like to add a link to www.drupalprimer.com, or if you found a link that you think would be helpful, please come and visit and we’ll be glad to add it to the site.

Drupal.org

Drupal.org is worth investigating at some point (see Figure 3.26). If you’re a beginner, keep in mind that the site is maintained by volunteers, whose specialty is software development, and not necessarily instructional design. There’s a lot of information on there, but as with any site, there’s room for improvement. If you’re an instructional designer or technical writer, perhaps you’d like to help.

Probably the most helpful things to look at for beginners are the sections of the site we’ve already looked at. Later in the book there are some additional sections we’ll recommend.

Probably the most helpful part of the site in some ways is not the documentation, but the forums, where you can ask questions if you get stuck.
