    • Define key hardware and software components related to the interface
  • Functional description:
    • Describe the operations performed by the interface
    • Describe how the end users interact with the interface
    • Describe the events that trigger the movement of information through the interface
  • Data transfer:
    • Describe how data is moved along the component systems of the interface
    • Describe how connectivity among the systems will be implemented
