The following steps detail how to configure the DHCP server on the ESG:

1. Log in to the vSphere Web Client via a web browser.
2. Navigate to Networking & Security.
3. Select NSX Edges and select the newly-created edge: Chapter5.
4. Under the Chapter5 configuration, navigate to Manage | Settings | DHCP.
5. Enable the DHCP service by clicking Enable and then Publish Changes:

6. Click the Add button to configure a pool.
7. In the Add DHCP Pool configuration pane, configure the fields as follows for the client subnet 192.168.200.0/24:

8. Click OK to complete the configuration.
9. Click Publish Changes for the configuration to be pushed to the ESG.

10. Next, click Bindings to configure a one-to-one static IP address binding.
11. Click the Add button to configure a binding.
12. Configure the MAC binding parameters for your chosen virtual machine as per the following screenshot:

13. Click OK to complete the configuration.
14. Click Publish Changes for them to be pushed to the ESG.
