This chapter is a gentle introduction to clients and integrations with Solr. Instead of looking in detail at each of the many existing projects, we simply cite only some of the most used solutions. This list should not be considered complete, as there exist many other libraries and projects.

Starting from the idea collected for performing queries with cURL, and again using the same API introduced for the examples in Chapter 9, Introducing Customizations, we saw how to start writing custom code for our clients.

We also cited some different libraries for specific tasks or languages that can be useful for you to save time.
