In this chapter we used a couple of scripts to collect RDF resources from DBpedia, which contains structured paintings' metadata that we will use in our examples.

We saw how to define a simple core configuration and did tests, indexing, and updating of a single document to start with.

The next step was to analyze the data collected and extend our schema in order to add fields in which we are interested, focusing on natural searches.

Finally, we played with the admin web interface to familiarize with it a little more, play simple searches, and find out how to use it to request for an optimization of the core.
