Overview

In this chapter, you learn how to enter data and prepare SAS programs that perform a one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) using the GLM procedure. This chapter focuses on the between-subjects design, in which each participant is exposed to only one condition under the independent variable. The use of a multiple comparison procedure (Tukey’s HSD test) is described, and guidelines for summarizing the results of the analysis in tables and text are provided.
