Overview

This chapter shows how to enter data and prepare SAS programs to perform a two-way ANOVA using the GLM procedure. This chapter focuses on factorial designs with two between-subjects factors, meaning that each participant is exposed to only one condition under each independent variable. Guidelines are provided for interpreting results that do not display a significant interaction and separate guidelines are provided for interpreting results that do display a significant interaction. For significant interactions, you see how to display the interaction in a figure and how to perform tests for simple effects.
