If you do a lot of Googling, you may get tired of entering the same searches over and over, trying to find the latest search results. Wouldn’t it be great if there were a way to save the data you search for—or even have Google email you when new web pages appear that match your search criteria?
Fortunately, Google has thought of both contingencies. If you want to save the information you find while searching, you use Google Notebook. And if you want to be notified when new information becomes available, you use Google Alerts. We’ll look at both services in this chapter.
