Google Health attempts to serve the admirable purpose of making patient medical information more accessible and useful. It’s actually easy to enter all your medical information, and having it all in one place is of tremendous potential value. No doubt Google Health will become even more useful as more physicians and organizations sign up as partners; I can envision a future where you can automatically transfer your medical history from Google Health directly to your physician’s office or to a local hospital. It’s not there yet, unfortunately, but it’s still a relatively new service. Expect increased functionality as time goes by.
