Unfortunately, there aren't many packages available that enhance pfSense's multi-WAN capabilities. The only package I know of that currently exists is gwled, which allows you to use LEDs on certain embedded devices to monitor gateways. After you install gwled, a new option will appear on the Interfaces menu called Gateway Status LEDs. If you navigate to this option, you can control the options for this package. Checking the Enable gwled checkbox enables this package—it is not enabled by default. The package allows you to monitor the gateways using LEDs #2 and #3 on supported devices. You need to enable each LED individually, and you must also specify to which gateway each LED corresponds using the drop-down box for each LED.
