Project: Creating Plaid Fabric

In creating repeating patterns like a plaid, the grid structure is helpful for consistent spacing. With the Snap to Grid feature active, you can easily space sections of the pattern to explore your creativite ideas. Using the Transform Effect makes spacing and duplicating items much easier and cleaner than manually copying and pasting, or duplicating. In this project, you will easily explore different color variations with Recolor Artwork and learn to create different color harmonies in your artwork without having to change each object individually.
