Ahmad Hemami, PhD, is an adjunct professor at McGill University in Montreal. He earned a BSc in mechanical engineering. He earned a PhD in system dynamics and control from the Department of Aeronautical and Mechanical Engineering, University of Salford, UK. Dr. Hemami has many years of work experience in industry and academia in the form of engineering practice, teaching, and research. His expertise is in systems, robotics, control and automation, and wind energy. He has taught several undergraduate and graduate courses in engineering disciplines, supervised a number of MSc and PhD students in Canada and the United States, and has served as a consultant for industry. The results of his analytical and experimental research on pertinent subjects have been presented in more than 100 journal and conference publications. His current work is on renewable energy and care for the environment.
